Synopsis

During the middle of the 21st century, humanity is on the verge of ending (and taking the atmosphere as we know it and the terrestrial biosphere along with it), but before that happened, civilization fell due to a pandemic that ended with two and a half billion people dead. This happened shortly after a large solar flare left useless a large part of the world's infrastructure.

For three centuries human beings lived in an environment similar to that of the Middle Ages. Quite quickly afterwards, however, they began to rebuild civilization up to the same level as the 21st century--but this time, without exhausting the resources of Earth. After centuries of progress humans started a growing space empire which extended to the edge of the solar system. At the height of its progress, humans began to develop an interstellar colonization project which intended to extend mankind to fourteen habitable worlds. From the 27th century to the 30th century, the solar system's civilization began to agonize over resources no longer automatically offered to each colony, in addition to the requests of independence. Eventually, war broke out, leaving Earth the only habitable place in humanity's empire. shed in the other planets ended up creating their own civilizations thus ensuring survival of humanity.

After 12 million years, humans evolved as an intergalactic civilization. Meanwhile, on Earth, natural forces returned as the only things influencing the fate of every living organism, thus shaping a new world without technological humanity.
